Barrouge
The 2017 was originally just for wine club. It was recently just released to everyone!
The 2016 Barrouge has a wonderful black sour cherry element with hints of sweet vanilla and cocoa. The palate is loaded with fruit flavors ranging from red cherry to black currants and ending hints of plum. The wine finishes with soft elegant tannins and touches of roasted almonds, espresso and chocolate flavors derived from the French oak.
The 2015 Barrouge has a ruby garnet color with aromas highlighted by hints of French vanilla that are followed by engaging blue berry and black currant notes. The palate is soft and concentrated, filled with luscious cherry and blackberry jam.
The 2014 Barrouge has a wonderful red cherry element with hints of sweet vanilla and cocoa. The palate is loaded with bright ripe raspberry and hints of plum.
2008 Barrouge in a 375ml bottle
This is the 2004 Barrouge in a 375ml bottle.
The 2004 Barrouge is indicative of the vintage, it is soft, supple, concentrated and charming. Aromatically the wine is filled with red currants and hints of sweet vanilla. On the palate you can find cherries and currants with long lenghty tannins.
